A friend of mine introduced me to this jewel a fan made live action movie of the Nintendo franchise.

No it is not a sweet story, after Kirby the pink canibal from the stars was defeated by the Mario bros the heroes lost there will to be heroes. with no idiols to worship the mushroom kingdom fell, the hyrule kingdom fell because of an economic setback. so the 4 people really in power are Bowser, King Dedede, Ganondorf and Mewtwo. But when Mewtwo is suddenly assassinated the power struggle begins anew. After princess peach went missing to Luigi nominates himself to find her all the while his brother sinks into a deeper and deeper depresion.

who can they trust?
Link? no, he is the jerk police officer.
Zelda? that snob?
Samus Aran? er she is a bounty hunter turned stripper
Wario?
Captain Falcon?
Pitt?
no Luigi can only depend on himself in this world.

GO WATCH IT PEOPLE IT WILL BE BETTER THEN A REAL MOVIE YOUR GETTING LATELY. (Well that was long)



Today ladies and gentleman...today something died within me.

I bought the last GIJOE comic i will ever buy-- No the comic hasn't died no it has a full reboot going... And that ladies and gentleman is killing my interest in it.

For the people that don't know what GIJOE= a real (American) hero is.

It is about a group of military guys fighting a fascist group named Cobra determent to rule the woorrrlddd.

Well I am quite known to be suspicious of the American government it was my favored toyline growing up. Not for the heroes mind you ^_- no i just adored the bad guys and there colorfull costumes and masks. But respected the good guys when I started to read the translated joe comic special misions.

So when Devils Due Publishing revived the comic series with the whole Marvel/Hamaverse intact I was overjoyed and ALMOST didn't miss a single issue.
Hell maybe I should read them again someday. A lot changed in the stories and groined my teeth at things I didn't like (Mayday, the nuking of cobra isle, killing lesser characters like Big Boa and Overlord and not using the Oktober Guard and the Red Shadows enough) but the good parts outweighed the bad (Stormshadow a good guy again, not ignoring Zandar, Red Shadows, the plague, Alexander Destro, General Rey, Black Ops Duke)

Until Hasbro decided to make a Live Action Movie and decided to deny the rights of Ddp and sell it to Idw.

Mind you I never liked the Idw as a publisher but I decide to give them a change even as they planned on a reboot.
But a Reboot isn't necary a bad thing after all I liked the original cartoon, Gijoe Extreme and Sigma 6.

Loved the GIJOE/Tramsformers crossover from Ddp hated the Dreamwave one

AND... I dislike Idw's run as much as Ddp's Reloaded (an other joe serie with different origins.

I hate Idw's Issue of Cobra (giving us cameo's of the SAW Viper and Jinx and killing them of)
IDW's basic serie is just slow and boring
And Origins was okay just okay nothing special. (a person with no nose was the most interesting go figure)
and the comics for the upcoming movie... is better then IDW's original series

More then Half a year has passed so far no cool Cobra uniforms (the crimson guards where just plain ugly)
no lovable cast (liked duke)
And the story is going toooo slooooowww

IDW your Out! your not getting my money anymore (maybe for the original Marvel trades but that is not your work IS IT?)

So next month the live action movie is in the cinema's and i am going to watch the murder in the face then... that is so far as I know killed his comic instead on saving it.

Marvel/Ddp joe fan forever
